The Bitter Lesson is that using AI to help run organizations may recapitulate what happened with AIs playing chess and go. Human-taught AIs were trounced at chess and go by AIs that taught themselves—without the hindrance of human instruction.

Mollick's point is that humans have deeply wrong ideas about how their organizations ACTUALLY work. This is well documented. Thus: AIs trained on how people think they work--trained on wrong PROCESS--will be trounced by organizational AIs guided solely by desired OUTCOMES.
