Looking through West Magazine this morning, I see our very own history teacher Mr. Spurgeon Marquette Theatre Co is ready for Halloween.

Congrats to November MHS Crown Trophy Performers of the Month: Marquette Theatre Co’s David Pisoni & Jilian Bunderson!

Mr. MTC thinks his biggest competition this year is David Pisoni, Mr. ITS. He sings, dances and knows how to solid second place to me!

The senior one acts were last Friday and Saturday. Students had the opportunity to direct a play and learn about the elements that go into the process. To read about the experience of the individual one acts, be on the look out for our monthly print issue coming out this Friday.

Opening night for Marquette Theatre Co's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" begins tonight at 7pm in the MHS Theater. Shows tonight, tomorrow and Saturday at 7pm and a matinee on Sunday at 2pm. Tickets still available.

As a former English teacher, I always believed Shakespeare is meant to be seen and not read, and that is especially true with this set, costume design, and acting. Congrats Marquette Theatre Co on such an entertaining evening.
