Last night, our teams supported 252 people in 6 dinghies arriving to #Lesvos. Lighthouse Relief has assisted almost 700 people this month, of whom 53% were children. Arrival numbers despite plummeting temperatures show that there is still no #safepassage for people seeking safety.

Since Christmas Eve, our emergency response teams have assisted 6 boats arriving to the north shore of #Lesvos, carrying 251 people. Among them, 147 children, many of them travelling alone. In one of the landings, over half of the passengers were unaccompanied minors.

On #NewYearsEve and in the early hours of 2020, Lighthouse Relief teams assisted 5 boats landing on the north shore of #Lesvos. We welcomed 226 people to Stage 2 transit camp, and as we entered 2020, one child gave us this new year’s greeting.
