Team Opal worked together using various donated resources to create a bug hotel. The children explored the outdoor area collecting different bugs and placing them in their new home 🐞🐌 We're also super impressed that our cress gardens and sunflowers have grown! 🌱

This week we had a visit from BookStart, we took part in a lovely circle time and even got a sneak peek of a new book we will be getting for participating in the story maker sessions every Wednesday via zoom. We also all got a lovely pack to take home from Tameside Libraries!

This week Team Opal have really enjoyed learning all about King Charles. We have been discussing the royal family and their names. The children then created their own royal family portrait and stamp👑

Another busy week last week for Team Opal. The children enjoyed learning all about Eid and creating their own Eid lanterns. One of our nursery friends shared with the class her first hand experiences of how she celebrated Eid with her family.

Team Opal have been expressing their creative side this week as they created their own version of Buckingham palace using various junk modelling pieces. We were very impressed with the way they turned out!

Team Opal showed their support to our year 2 children who have organised a charity day to support the amazing charity 'OKE’ – (Our Kids Eyes). Today we wore the colours of the OKE logo and donated money to this great cause! Manor Green Primary #ReadyRespectfulSafe

We have really enjoyed celebrating aspirations week. We have been getting into character of what we want to be when we grow up through dressing up and role play. We have also enjoyed listening to some lovely visitors in school too!🚒🏥 Manor Green Primary #ReadyRespectfulSafe

Olympic day! 🥇 We discussed the different events which is held at the Olympics and then made our own medals before going outside and practising our great team work skills in some of our own Olympic games. Finished off with an ice pop selfie in the shade! ☀️ Manor Green Primary #ReadyRespectfulSafe
