#HarrowLodgeLeisureCentre Project has been at full speed this past week and we will continue to do so until our Practical Completion 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️ We’re currently 2/3 through filling the Diving Pool’s of its 1,200,000 litres of water and we’ll start filling the Main Pool tomorrow 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️

The demolition of #HornchurchSportsCentre is going swimmingly... I have enjoyed talking to many old facility users who remember the centre when it was first built and now look forward to using and creating many great memories within the new Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre 👍👍

#HornchurchSportsCentre demolition works have continued to progress well, next week we will see scaffold erected around the old Pool Hall to provide safe access when removing the asbestos fascia. Once removed we’ll drop the rest of the building and start on the new car park 👍

There’s lots happening on our #HornchurchSportsCentre site. The scaffold wrap to the four sides of the old pool hall is almost complete and the asbestos removal prep works has started well. Looking forward to the opening of the new Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre this Monday 👍

Good progress made on our #HornchurchSportsCentre Project as two of the four sides of the pool hall have now been successfully stripped of asbestos👍 We’ve had great planning meetings this week with our supply chain and we’re all looking forward to starting the new car park

Yes, the Pool Hall of Hornchurch Sports Centre is still standing although it won’t be for much longer. We’re almost finished removing the last of the asbestos, once it’s all gone we’ll dismantle the scaffolding and drop the building.

Our contractors Kane Robert Hicks have done a lot of hard work this past month to get us back in a good position and I’m very happy that we’re now ready to finish the demolition of Hornchurch Sports Centre 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️ and soon make a start on the new car park construction

Another week to go and we’ll be starting the construction of the new car park on top of what used to be Hornchurch Sports Centre👍
