This is AMAZING! The ichthyosaur Mary is collecting is an illustration of one she actually found! Described in 1836, now Oxford University Museum of Natural History. It is a specimen I identified as an Ichthyosaurus anningae, i.e. the species named after Mary Anning! Fantastic artwork by DoYoon Kim.
