It was wonderful to be back in person at #psynom2022! Chatting about research, listening to great talks, walking around the poster hall, and seeing friends from all over the world was amazing :) Thanks to everyone who stopped by my poster! Psychonomic Society

Dear academic colleagues, if you have any Turkish (& Syrian) students, please reach out to them, ask them how they r doing & consider extending/canceling their deadlines (if there is any). No matter which part of the country they r from they r most probably shaken to the core. +

Every university in the United States needs an office that tracks global events affecting the well-being of students, faculty, and staff. Most Diversity Equity Inclusion activities are US-centric and do not acknowledge the pain and suffering of people who are not American.

Today was the last day of my summer course Lifespan Memory Development. I designed this course for my candidacy exam and it was great to have the opportunity to actually teach it. This past 3 weeks has been extremely busy and stressful but also very fulfilling. I’m not crying🥹

Our new study in Memory found that remembering success (vs failure) and autobiographical (vs vicarious) events was related to positive self-views in Americans but not Asians. Nazike Mert Yuchen Tian tandfonline.com/doi/figure/10.…
