Hypertech has completed the development and testing of the MERLON Global Flexibility Manager, which is now officially ready to launch in demo sites. This is a software tool for Aggregators which includes various features in the field of flexibility management.

Yesterday our research team joined the webinar co-organised with MERLON and INTERPRETER H2020. Innovative tools were presented and informal discussions emerged in the Q&A session about barriers to prosumerism and how technology can provide solutions for all market actors.

The capability to perform demand response actions at the participant school in Crevillent is now complete with the installation and commissioning of the last smart components that will allow the optimization of the network behaviour while maintaining the comfort of the buildings.

MERLON is arriving at its very end, with demonstration activities finalising, the evaluation of the results will come soon. Part of these demonstrations includes the control of demand response equipment, for instance, domestic hot water tanks managed by the MERLON ecosystem:
