Agree-- in addition, Salvadoran & Honduran TPS holders have spent a quarter century, often more than half of their lives, in the U.S. They have deep roots in their communities and if they lose status, they'd be separated from their families and U.S.-born children Nat’l TPS Alliance

TPS recipients & allies are in a hunger strike in Washington DC calling on the President Donald J. Trump Biden admin. to renew TPS for El Salvador, Honduras & Nicaragua. Biden can protect these long-term residents from deportation #TPSJustice Nat’l TPS Alliance

Some huge news on Temporary Protected Status. ARCHIVED: Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas just extended four current TPS designations which were set to expire in the next few months: - El Salvador - Venezuela - Ukraine - Sudan This will extend 18 additional months of protection for roughly 850,000 people.

Congratulations to Alford and Jessica and to all of us!! Looking forward to their leadership of the ASA Sociology!!
