I have many stories like this too- sometimes my highest performers have been people I have been told needed to be let go when I took the team on. Always give people a chance, give them the feedback and time to grow. Sometimes it doesn’t work out. But it’s worth trying.

So NASA can update a probe that's over 50 years old and 22 Billion KM away in two days. Some software out here still taking years, and it's recent. Is the software more complex than Voyager? Maybe. But why is that? It didn't have NASA's budget, or timeline. What's difference?
