Exciting 4-1 win for the varsity girls over Reading yesterday! Sophie McElligott opened the scoring off an assist from Chloe Arnold. 2 goals for Abby Taylor on corner kicks with one assisted by Sophie McElligott. Final goal by Aisling Donegan off a Kiera Brophy cross.

JVA took down a strong Reading squad 1-0 yesterday! Longo kept it locked down in goal with some amazing saves, and Dupnik buried the winner. Shoutout to the strong defensive play that secured the shutout as the entire team battled hard to the final whistle.

3-0 win over Reading for JVB today! Maddie Weller put the team ahead with a nice finish on a cross from Genevieve Pechulis. 2nd and 3rd goals by Grace Schmitt and Ally Bitzas. Gigi Goytizolo and Ally Bitzas for the shut out along with Charlotte Smith & Annie Hall’s solid defense.

Despite a 6–2 final score against a tough Mansfield squad yesterday, JVB showed grit and resilience. Ally Bitzas and Grace Schmitt scored to take the 2nd half 2–0, with Gigi Goytizolo posting a shutout and Adri Demsey leading a defensive stand that stifled Mansfield’s attack.

JVA won 2-1 over a tough Mansfield team. Both sides fought hard, with Evelyn Dupnik scoring 2 goals. Mansfield scored during the first half, but Melrose's defense held firm, pitching a shutout in the 2nd half. Shout-out to guest player Annie Hall for her defensive contribution.

Valiant effort by the varsity girls at Mansfield this past week. Incredible resiliency as they came back to tie the game before ultimately falling 4-3 to Boston Globe’s #13 ranked team. Despite the loss this was a confidence and camaraderie building game for these girls!

The Melrose JVA battled hard against Winchester, overcoming a 1-0 halftime deficit when Avery B. set up Morgan G. for the equalizer. Despite their efforts and great defensive play, they conceded a heartbreaking goal in the final minute, falling 2-1 - their 1st loss of the season.

JVB won a hard fought game against Winchester! Anni Hall opened the scoring just before halftime with a perfectly placed free kick. Winchester attack was strong but the Melrose defensive line was up to the task. 2 more goals by Grace Schmitt and Genevieve Pechulis.
