It's possible that a few spots in the Plateau could get some snow flurries tonight into Friday morning. We're not expecting much accumulation, but it would be the first "snow" of the season for those folks.

Nashville finally got to freezing just before midnight. This makes it the latest first freeze of the fall season ever, breaking a record set 15 years ago! Typically, we see our first freeze around November 1st.

❄️Some parts of the Midstate could see some snow Monday. I'm not expecting much accumulation... just a dusting for most. However, some of the higher elevated spots in the Plateau could see up to 1 inch. Be careful on the roads Monday night and Tuesday morning!

It’s going to be unusually warm and spring-like today, but the colder winter weather returns soon. Tonight, rain and a cold front will move through and drop our temperatures back to the 40s for most of next week.

Flooding is going to be the worst today in areas northwest of Nashville. Already many roads closed and impassable. Flooding could be life-threatening. Remember the saying “turn around, don’t drown.” Don’t risk it!

Take a look at the moon tonight! Not only is it a full moon, it's a super moon! Great viewing conditions for it tonight. Did you know that Easter's date is determined by the moon?? Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox!

Believe it or not, we'll see smoke in our skies here in Tennessee from the Canadian wildfires. It won't be dangerous to be outside in Nashville this weekend. You'll just notice a haziness in the skies for the next few days.
