Lovely church on my walk back to the train station after an insightful morning at the Network Rail Western Wales & Borders // Cymru a'r Gororau DEAM conference, presenting the impacts of extreme weather on the rail network and how these will change in future climates. Thank you for having me!

The irony of getting delayed and an early termination travelling home from a rail sector presentation 😅 No weather fault this time mind. Great customer service on board doing best they can to help everyone to their end destination 👏🏼

How can you know the answer to location based temperature records for the last year to the decimal point and still lose the pub quiz? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Music and movie knowledge not to the same calibre 😭

There shouldn’t be any difference in how people in trouble at sea are treated. But that isn’t the reality. The effort to find and save one of these groups highlights the tragic lack of effort to save the other. Every single person should have access to safety and rescue.

Rishi Sunak flew London to Blackpool in a 14-seat RAF jet, it would have taken 3 hrs by train. He did the same to Leeds, which is 2.5 hrs by train Private jets are 14 times more polluting than commercial planes; 50 times more than trains Politicians don’t care about the climate

A great evening at BBC Sport Green Sports Awards. Congratulations to all the winners! Especially, Innes FitzGerald - an inspiring young woman. What an impressive young athlete and one to watch for the future.
