World sepsis day 🌍 ❗️ Little update attended today with Livewell Southwest well done team. Excellent seeing patients raising awareness who are sepsis survivors ⭐️ Having also survived sepsis myself I think this is incredible as it can affect us at any time 🫶 #WorldSepsisDay

A year ago today I graduated with a Pgd in District Nursing. It’s bittersweet handing my notice in, to be taking a step away from DN and embarking on a new journey in the community in the new year, in a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner role. Huge challenges ahead ✨

Today feels like the end of an era 🥲 The first photo was 7 years ago where I started working from this base, I have gained so many friendships. I feel so lucky to have been supported by an amazing team to get to where I am in my nursing career. DN will always have my heart. ♥️

This morning we declared a Critical Incident due significant and rising demand for hospital care. If you have a very serious or life-threatening emergency, we are here for you, but otherwise, if you need urgent care, we ask you please to call NHS 111 or use NHS 111 online.

A very heartbreaking announcement for our PUNC family and alumni to hear this evening. Please take time, grieve and cherish each other. 🩷

Less DNs = less skills = less money BUT = more incidents, unsafe practice and deaths. When will people learn? it’s already been done and resulted in unsafe practice

One of my proudest moments was receiving my QN award. Completed a shift yesterday with DN’s to support them through their never ending demand and capacity issues and absolutely loved it. Able to use my transferable skills from frailty whilst keeping up my DN clinical skills. 💙
