Here’s a Roman Brooch from somewhere around the 3rd Century. It has the needle folded around it. Ritually bend? Very nice, somebody did this 1700 years ago! But why? To favor the gods? Or was he (or she) just pissed of because the brooch was broken? 😅 #metaldetecting

Today I found a half Saxon brooch and a very rare silver medieval coin of Koenraad van Zwaben 1076-1099. It was a bit risky but I managed to get it almost flat again. 😎👍🍀
