Myrmecina pierceae, a new species of ant described by MCZ Biodiversity Postdoc Fellow (applications for 2023 due Sept 30!) Cong Liu and colleagues, is dedicated to Curator of Lepidoptera & Harvard Organismic & Evolutionary Biology Prof Naomi E Pierce and her contributions to entomology and myrmecology.
