And that is officially the end of this amazing season for these girls as they represented Suffolk Football Association today in Kettering for the East of England Futsal Finals. They took it to the very last game but it wasn’t to be. The very best of luck to City Of Peterborough Futsal Centre in the National Finals ⚽️🏃🏼‍♀️

Today Woodbridge Town FC - Girls & Little Woodpeckers played in the East of England Futsal finals. A great event. Finding a venue to host has been difficult yet 100s of kids played today only to learn this place is due to be shut down by North Northamptonshire Council Sport & Entertainment matters! Just a lad from Kettering England Futsal

And here we are, 2 years on and 5 years since our first Suffolk Weetabix Wildcats session, it’s amazing to see that Woodbridge Town FC now has an Accredited Female Player Pathway

Six years ago we started off with with just a handful of girls, and next season we will have teams playing league football from U9’s to U16’s:-) We can’t do this without all of our fantastic managers & coaches, and not forgetting all of our wonderful girls 🖤🤍
