Thank you to BX of Tennessee for the donations to South-Doyle CTE! Mr.Huettel will be able to use 3d printing in construction classes and Jim Thomas's welding classes can use a new and accurate band saw.
We had so much fun showing off robots at Take Your Child to work day at Oak Ridge Lab. We got the chance to hang with our friends Secret City Wildbots and roane county robotics. We even got to see what our alumni are working on and tour the super computer!!
Students in Principles of Engineering & Tech worked with South Doyle High School Library, using the design thinking process to develop and 3d print/laser cut signs for our shelves in the library! #soknostem

This week our robotics team hosted our first Lego League camp. Students learned how to code and build sumo bots this week! Thank you so much to Knox Education Foundation for the grant to supply the kits. These kits will go to 5 of our South Knoxville schools to develop Lego League teams!
I had to cut short my visit with โฆโฆ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก-๐๐จ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅโฉ Robotics in DC so I came to the school to see their lab.
