My husband and I raised 6 kids, and I taught catechism. I spent Fridays delivering meals on wheels. I won’t sit quietly while extremists in Congress invoke the name of Jesus Christ to take food away from hungry kids.

Dozens of peaceful protesters were burned in an act of antisemitic hate. The NRCC’s first reaction is to blame a freshmen member of Congress. This rhetoric is shameful, baseless, and offensive, and it does nothing to turn down the temperature in our country. We deserve better.
