Friday was a day of celebration Westside Elementary. Superintendent Cramer, Principal Johnson, and a host of others surprised Ms. Lisa Puryear, Instructional Assistant, with the announcement that she was the IWCS nominee for the state RISE award. Congratulations Ms. Puryear and House Hulya!

IWCS Culinary Arts prepared 100 Thanksgiving Meals for families in need in our community. Each meal box included ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, collards, green beans, stuffing, sweet potato biscuits, apple & pecan pies, all prepared by the students.
