Excited to be a 2021 HSI fellow! My project with UBC and Neil Arason (he/him) at the BC Ministry of Health will use an amazing linked database of insurance claims, police reports, hospital records and more, to assess active transport 🚶🚲safety in BC and provide evidence for future policy
Our team has been awarded CIHR funding to study inequality in road traffic injury rates of different populations & places in BC! The study uses 2015-2019 BC Gov data to map traffic injury rates in different neighbourhoods.
