A while ago NGOs providing frontline services to vulnerable like the elderly, children and disabled people had to take GDSD to court to get their grants. Those NGOs are shutting down. Meanwhile, the GDSD is sending money back to Treasury unspent. groundup.org.za/article/childr…

It’s strange that when the EFF loses, there are problems with the institution of the Western Cape High Court. The EFF didn’t say so when it won this case against the City of Cape Town: saflii.org/za/cases/ZAWCH… Funnily, all the cases the EFF lost relating to disrupting Parly.

Today the SCA dismissed an appeal by four aggrieved parents who were fighting against a school in Belville, Cape Town, changing its name from the apartheid-era ‘Hoerskool DF Malan’ to DF Akademie. With the appeal dismissed, the school renaming can proceed.
