The computer wins. Aim Assist has never been a solution. It's either too strong or too weak. Gyro Aim is the way forward if fairness is to be achieved. (Though I question whether the average gamer event "want" fairness or are they just comfortable enjoying their AA??)

I saw some gameplay of Valorant on PS5 and XSX. I'm honestly sad for all these controller players (mainly PS players) because we have had people playing with aim close to a mouse for years and you guys are still stuck with "Aim Assist"-but-not-really-just-extra-steps

More advice for multiplayer developers exploring gyro aim: Input Based Matchmaking: Splitting pools by [GamePad | KB+M] is outdated thinking They should be split by Aim Assist [On | Off] Gyro does not need (or want) aim assistance; it's closer to KB+M in terms of skills used.
