The Duchess of Kent dies at the age of 92. She was a familiar figure at Wimbledon for many years including the presentation handing trophies, always very kind and generous, taking her time not just with the champion but also the finalist. RIP and it'll be a very big miss.

I am so sad for the passing of her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Kent though I had the privilege of calling Katherine. What she did for me personally was an amazing thing. RIP and thank you so very much for all the good you have done.

Alcaraz breaks the Djokovic serve on the first game. Still yet to drop a set, holding serve 68 times out of 69 times so far in the tournament. #USOpen

It's Alcaraz with the 1st set closing it out with 2 big serves and a roar. Commentary saying it was a close set despite many errors from Djokovic and there more fans behind Djokovic today. Really? #USOpen

First break, first fist pump from Djokovic after an hour in this match. Well, it's simply praising from the Japanese commentary at the moment. Test for Alcaraz. #USOpen

Seems like taking the net doesn't mean "advantage" when it's against Djokovic or Alcaraz. It's now back on serve in the 2nd set. #USOpen

An ace and big 2nd serve to finish off the tiebreak. It's 2 sets to Alcaraz. Simply focus in a kind of pro Djokovic atmosphere. 1 set from the final. #USOpen

A couple of things to point out. 1. Alcaraz has never lost after taking the first 2 sets. 2. Alcaraz is yet to beat Djokovic on hard court. 3. Djokovic came back from 2 sets down and 2 match points down against Federer in the SF back in 2011. #USOpen

Djokovic clearly struggling physically and now 4-1 down in the 3rd set but we all know he won't simply give up or throw away the match. #USOpen

No man has ever won the US Open without losing a set. Carlos Alcaraz is a straight-sets win in the final away from doing so.

A very quiet end but with a big hand and applause. It's Alcaraz in 3 sets and going to the final but we all know Djokovic gave his all plus played his 4th SF in a Grand Slam this year. In other words, he reached the SFs in all 4 Grand Slams. #USOpen

A quiet end to a big SF and it's Alcaraz reaching the final beating Djokovic in 3 sets. Yet to drop a set. Last man to reach the final without dropping a set? Federer in 2015. #USOpen

Alcaraz following the footsteps of Hewitt, Nadal, Federer. If he wins the final in straight sets, it'll be another historical scene. Dropping a set or 2? He'll follow Nadal. #USOpen

Just a reminder of how difficult it is to reach the SFs of all 4 Grand Slams in the same calendar year. And Djokovic at the top with 7 times including this year at the age of 38. #USOpen
