Turning down work is scary, especially when you know we could all use more $. But if you're already finding yourself strapped for time with your commitments, adding one more thing to your plate is going to be so much worse for your well-being. The $ isn't always worth it.

A reminder that if you don't immediately see the results of the community work that you're currently doing, it doesn't mean that you're not getting closer each day. A lot of this accumulates over time. Keep putting in the work, you're getting there even if you can't see it
