More bad news for mobile phone users in India (after SIM binding): Our government is mandating a government app (sanchar saathi) on every new phone, permanently, Reuters reports. Will be pushed to your phone via OTA. New smartphones need to have it. Users cannot delete it. This

Which government forces smartphone makers to preload a cyber security app that cannot be deleted ? Only the Government of India🇮🇳 Things Indian babus and netas are good at, the plan must be to kill EU 🇪🇺 bureaucrats of envy I guess.

Sir deep concern is also needed for the AQI of cities in India. It is shameful that you should remain quiet on this issue, with your residence also being in Delhi. All your ministers and babus can afford multiple purifiers at home, but what about the millions of poor people?

I agree with this person about one thing: "A secure digital ecosystem begins with secure devices" Secure devices mean you don't force malware on to user devices or create a single point of failure, or a honeypot of data. But that doesn't fit his narrative.

Hey Maulviayya Let users decide if they want to install the device or uninstall it. Whether you're reading my texts or watching porn on my phone comes next. Don't think your brain can process something as simple as user consent.

Journalists who are defending #SancharSathiApp by saying corporates/ google etc already have our data need to stop doing journalism. A citizen not the govt decides his own privacy. Google or big tech does not run our country. They are not a government that can snoop.

Remove SIM binding directive too. You have no idea how that will impact users to have their whatsapp and telegram account bound mandatorily to a SIM. You should do a public consultation for views before issuing such directives

Rupee at 90 is actually good, we should be targeting 100 though. Imagine all the mental bandwidth saved converting dollar into Rupee with latter being 100. It’s all worth it imo.

Telecom like Aviation, are industries destroyed by successive Indian Governments. Can't blame NDA alone, since a lot of this rot stems from UPA of 2004-14 and previous regimes. High capex industries need a lot of handholding and support, while Indian govts have been leeching off

More reasons why Gobarnments fail . And how they choke supply/demand!. First they create a problem, then find a solution to create another problem.
