United are playing some good stuff, but a big GK error divides the teams. Arsenal a little slow to react to United's dynamism, thus far.

Michael Keane is not pulling across to LB to support Garner, leaving Garner with two jobs to do. This is James Garner - the CM (who has played at RB) - who is playing at LB today.

Appreciate it's Monday Night Football, but... Who at Sky thinks Leeds and Everton fans want to hear from Mancunian Gary Neville and ex-Liverpool player Jamie Carraghar.?

Leeds dominated the first half. Everton edged the second. Leeds short of quality in front of goal whilst Everton gave the ball away in the midfield, and on the right, repeatedly. Penalty was very harsh.

Some really odd stuff has been released by Marseille, and those close to Marseille, over the last two weeks. It may have contributed to the problems which spilled over after the Rennes defeat.

Would he significantly improve Everton's defence? Yes. Are CB or LB as urgent issues as RB, RW or even ST? No. But if you can improve a position, or two, and have plenty of PSR space to do so, you should.

As highlighted 12 days ago. The combined efforts of Everton, Dibling (and the response of Southampton 's recruitment team) looks like paying off. A positive announcement is expected before Sunday's opening match at HillDickinsonStadium.

Coventry City finally have a stadium (which they own) to call home. Owner Doug King has wanted this since first bidding for The Sky Blues in 2022 and has played a blinder to 'encourage' Mike Ashley to sell, so quickly. #CBSArena

Everton formation looks the same as the team that started against Leeds, with Grealish left and Ndiaye right. Moyes didn't comment much about Dewsbury-Hall after Leeds, but he must have seen how KDH improved when he dropped deeper, so he might be there to allow greater impact.

Four-year deal for Tyler Dibling is curious. He will be 23 when it expires. Strong chance Everton have a second deal date agreed which Dibling will be locked to. Not an extension, another deal. Not unusual for a sell-on clause to disappear at the end of deal one.

Another one bites the dust... Carney was one of English football's brightest talents when he left Villa for Chelsea in 2022. That talent remains, but the last three years have been a waste of someone who should have been starring. And raises the question about squad limits.

A sliding doors moment approaches for DCL. He either fights, believes and scores one of his next two or three chances or we might not see him again. Heavy.

Two of the supposed saviours of Man. United (Cunha and Mbeumo) miss penalties as they crash out of the League Cup (Rnd 2) to League 2 Grimsby Town!
