Work/personal account cross-pollination alert! Had fun attending this event for the first time. And such a vital cause… the bravery of families and loved ones to share the stories of children lost to suicide is a degree of bravery beyond anything I can imagine.

I’ve learned at least one thing as a manager: Hire good people. Do that, and the rest tends to work out. Super proud of Nathan F and the talent and authenticity he brings to @BurrellCenter.

Please be sure to know the research. Individuals struggling with mental health issues are more likely to hurt themselves than act violently toward others across almost all diagnostic classes. Our hearts are with all the families in Texas this evening!

As a clinician one of the most difficult things I had to do was find meaningful after hours support options for client safety plans. This center fills that gap, and dramatically increases access to care when an individual needs it most.

My father is pretty significantly disabled, and I can’t explain how much easier accessibility and common courtesy matter in his day to day life (and my mom’s). Go out of your way to accommodate someone with a need… it’s a quality of life issue.

I’ve been unbelievably lucky to work with amazing leaders at every stop in my career. This is yet another dream opportunity. Welcome to the @BurrellCenter team Clay!
