Never great when you hire someone and 90% of the responses to your announcement post are neutral to negative. BYU Athletics is going to be digging itself out of a hole with this one. Not saying he can’t be great, but he’s going to have to be outstanding to prove himself.

Angel Studios isn’t interested in sticking it to the mainstream — they want to become the mainstream. “Stories are upstream from culture,” Jordan Harmon told me. And Angel intends to produce “some of the most timeless stories throughout history.” bostonglobe.com/2025/06/05/opi…

When I lived in the Philippines I got asked multiple times if we just ate sandwiches for every meal. If you have this kind of opinion about any one type of food, you probably just haven’t been exposed to enough of their food.

I asked both models to explain why a line of code was added, GPT-5 took 5+ minutes. Claude took 5 seconds. GPT-5's explanation was unnecessarily verbose. Claude's was two sentences and gave me what I needed to know.

Started with Claude Code this morning and a couple times now it's suggested updates in a completely different file than the selected text i've highlighted... strange. Never saw that kind of behavior before this morning.

Gave Replit a try recently and was really surprised at how quickly i used up my credits. I don't see how the pricing model is sustainable for the value provided. I used everything up in three days and didn't see enough value to want to continue to use it using variable pricing.
