How does pollution impact reproduction? Review paper led by School of Biological Sciences, Monash PhD student Lucinda Aulsebrook available here: doi.org/10.1530/REP-20… With Michael Bertram Jake M Martin @AnneAulsebrook Tomas Brodin Jon Evans Matt Hall @OBryanMoira Andrew Pask & Charles Tyler. #BobWongLab

Interested in cutting-edge methods for pathogen transmission and antibiotic resistance evolution? Finishing up a PhD in Statistics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, Ecology or a related field? Apply to work with a fun group at U of Michigan and Penn State: kinglab.eeb.lsa.umich.edu/lab/jobs

I'm very pleased to say our new paper was published today with The Royal Society Proceedings B! Key finding: Maintaining #immune function does not appear costly for overall #fitness in a wild #bird population. doi.org/10.1098/rspb.2…

We are looking for a post-doc with interests in the evolutionary ecology of host-parasite interactions. Work across projects linking sex-specific adaptation, global change biology, or invasion biology. See lab.mattdhall.com/publications and job details here careers.pageuppeople.com/513/cw/en/job/…

Please RT: Up to four highly attractive lectureships with generous startup packages offered at the Science Faculty at Lund University! Please spread the word to all talented young biologists. We want at least one or all to go to @Biology_LU lu.varbi.com/en/what:job/jo…

New paper from the lab, led by Stephen Gipson, on how host sex shapes the flow of energy from the environment, through hosts, to their pathogens. Bio-energetic changes in males were much less sensitive to variation in food availability. journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/71…

Congrats Lucinda Aulsebrook (cosupervised with Matt Hall) who submitted her PhD thesis today 🎉🍾🥳. Lucinda studied the impacts of pollution on life history traits in interaction with other environmental stressors (🌡, 🦠) using Daphnia as her model. School of Biological Sciences, Monash #BobWongLab

I was delighted to contribute my research with Matt Hall and Bob Wong (@bbmwong.bsky.social) to the Royal Society Publishing Phil Trans theme issue on 'Infectious disease ecology and evolution in a changing world’. Check it out here: royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs… Monash University
