There have been some heat bursts in northeast Colorado and southwest Nebraska. These are max temps since midnight, some locations reaching the low 90s thanks to showers and storms moving through mixing down a warm and dry layer above the surface. #cowx #newx

Maybe not. Over 4 years and 40 total days of chasecation from end of April through early June across 10 states, I only had 5 days of tornados and yet the best tornados I saw was only an hour from my house.

Why do I think hail>tornados? Success rate while chasing. I have a ~95% success rate chasing hailstorms when I go out to see hail. Tornados is wayyyy less, and I don't like that.
