Don White, the #Avs assistant equipment manager, is a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. The Colorado players bought him tickets to the Super Bowl on Sunday so he can see the Bengals live, and they also paid for his airfare and hotel.

The UBC Thunderbirds are heading back to the U CUP for the second season in a row. In 2020, their QF game v UNB was cancelled, one of two slashed due to that first day of COVID in North America. What a moment that will be for this group. #USPORTS

I always said I’d retire if I got one of these, the town of imperial called my bluff. Thanks to everyone that made it happen!

Here’s the thing about Don Hay. No one is more recognizable in junior hockey circles than him. Everyone feels they “know” Hayzer. On the road, the ferry or out for dinner, fans constantly approach him to tell their personal story of their seven degrees of separation. 1/2

Why is that? My own philosophy is he reminds people of the best time of their lives. They remember the Memorial Cups in the 90’s, or the World Juniors they watched on TV with family over the Christmas Holidays. He has both character & charisma. A good man and a “coaches coach.”
