I had an interesting experience today after reviewing a paper for an ordinarily highly reputable journal. Was called “obstructionist” and “narrow-minded” by the authors in their response for voicing a scientific opinion that differed from theirs - oh well!

Well, it’s been a totally and utterly shit past 6 months, but being back in my shared 2nd home city and meeting-up with the best friends that one could hope to have does provide some comfort.
