When I was young, I never thought about choosing my mood. Now that I’m married, I see how great an impact my mood—or choice of mood—can have on my spouse (and everyone else). You can choose to be happy, fun, and charming, and that makes a HUGE difference to the people around you.
You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously.
Don't just teach your children how to be successful, teach them how to respond when they are not successful, teach them how to handle failures and learn from their mistakes. 🧠

• If you're wrong, admit it.
• If you're confused, ask questions.
• If you're stuck, seek for help.
• If you make mistake, learn from it.
• If you learn something, teach others.
"Meditation is intermittent fasting for the mind.
Too much sugar leads to a heavy body, and too many distractions lead to a heavy mind.
Time spent undistracted and alone, in self-examination, journaling, meditation, takes us from mentally fat to fit."

Something I taught 13 yo: There are people who are "bad" in the sense of breaking the rules, but who are actually really nice. And there are others who obey all the rules and yet are really nasty. Sometimes the nastiest not only obey the rules, but enforce them.
