I don’t know if it’s the painkillers or the high levels of anti-histamine (I’ve broken out in a severe rash that I think wearing a sling 24/7 has caused) but the other night I woke up in a cold sweat cos I was bowling and nothing I did could get the new ball to swing back in.

Pic 3 shows where my supraspinatus should have been but it’s completely absent. Pic 2 is the reattached muscle covered in a collagen patch. No movement above shoulder height for 6 wks and a slow rehab to ensure it ‘knits’ strong. It’s amazing what they can do! Thank you Mr Corner

Shoulder rehab progressing after rotator cuff surgery. 6 weeks now and I can lose the sling at home. Only assisted movements now, moved on from passive ones. Couldn’t find a metre rule so I thought a roll of wrapping paper would do the job!!
