To all my followers: So I just spent a brief time away in the mountains reflecting on the last 15-20 years with my best friend (she also happens to be my wife) and here's what I concluded at least for now when it comes to posting here going forward. I will try and avoid posting

Look gang don't take this the wrong way but I'm not on here to trade your accounts for you. Do your own work. (which may include research or ideas from someone else but even those HAVE to run through your own process) With something as liquid as the $SPY there are literally

Just to clarify my last post as THIS ๐Ÿ‘‡ is my stated goal. I would say if there is ONE thing that winners I've met in the market (there are far fewer consistent ones than most think, present company included as I've had some periods where I wasn't winning) it is that they take

Sentiment has come way down. Not a timing indicator by any means but this is NOT what tops or major tops look like. AAII bears are at 1yr highs?!? We start to get traction on the long side I'm gonna look to get VERY aggressive here!

This is a good question here is how I look at a situation like this in totality. 1. For starters let's look at the daily. This stock is definitely going parabolic here (see how its accelerating) but that doesn't mean this is a climax top as there is NO selling on volume but

Market is definitely putting in a hard shake or potential failed breakout here. Growth names not trading well. Wanting to see the close (a distribution day would mean more time needed for sure) but I have tightened & trimmed risk so as not to get into much trouble. This is

I punted this at breakeven today...a good example of managing risk in real time where I look around and just not liking how some things are going so tightening up further. I do think another shakeout here would potentially be really constructive but not one I want to sit through

What he said (we sit next to each other) is exactly right and the old adage 'if you can't make $ in the leaders' was definitely a tell as they started getting wobbly even though the averages looked good and what I feared yesterday morning rolled into today. I would LOVE to see a

I remember seeing these signs as a kid in our school and ignored them as the floor never seemed all that wet to me until I wiped out hard one time... That is what this market reminds me of currently. After my weekend work I have almost NO buyable ideas and wound up chopping

This is probably what a short term top in gold 'sounds like'. I like Luke Gromen a lot but when Tucker Carlson starts talking about gold with him ( Luke Gromen has been bullish and correct for a few years on gold) about it we could be closer to a short term top. I'm out for now

Guarding ones emotional capital (how your market operations make you feel) is very underrated. One example would be if the market rallying or bouncing when you don't own much or are under invested bothers you it should tell you all you need to know. I could lecture about

This is equally interesting & important as I've NEVER seen this in 18yrs of doing this. 1. The AAII bears just hit 60% and the bull/bear spread hit north of +40%. I have seen that high a print but prints of 60 or higher have only happened a few times. 10/9/08, 3/5/09, 6/3/22,

One of the best ways to know you are a pro and not just a gambler in disguise (who wants/needs action and will lose in the long run) in this business is to be able to just sit and watch. There is little to nothing actionable but a few things I'm watching in so specific order.

UGLY CLOSE INBOUND... This aircraft has lost lift here and I think a bounce could be close (I'd look for an ugly open and VIX spike) but from what level?!? I don't trade try and catch bottoms via falling knives as who knows where this market finds its footing. That IS the

Confession time: I've never been to formal confession (I wasn't raised in that tradition) however I think confession itself is a VERY healthy discipline and leads to real authenticity & honesty and something I do at times with those I'm closest with. All of that aside here goes

I have literally been doing some writing/reflecting recently on this very topic and the nature of generosity (not sure where that will go but we shall see). If you don't have a proper worldview around money it won't matter as you won't steward it well. While Mark Minervini

This pretty much sums up every macro/fundamental bear argument I have heard my whole career... I just got off a coaching call where there were more questions on economic/fundamental indicators and what I look at then I've EVER gotten. I'm guessing most didn't like the answers
