January 22 A great day for noodlization, saving your game on the toilet, holding things sideways, smashing gems on your friend’s head, and

January 30, 2007 Vanguard was the first MMO touted as a “true” spiritual successor to EverQuest. Led by EQ creator Brad McQuaid (RIP), it had some cool ideas like a full diplomacy system, but the vision never fully came together. It shut down in 2014.
