I’m the new acquiring editor for our revamped series Women’s Media History Now! It’s an honor to get to work with series editors Kay Armatage, Jane Gaines, Christine Gledhill, and Sangita Gopal. I’m so thrilled to begin acquiring books in this wonderful series!

I presented a project for faculty board approval for the first time today. As soon as I started speaking, my usually reliable headset decided that was the perfect moment to stop working. It then worked perfectly at my next meeting, even though I did nothing to fix it. Why?!

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Kim on this wonderful project. I can’t wait to transmit it into production for the Illinois Press Fall 2023 season! 🥳
