Liftoff of Fram2 — the first human spaceflight mission to a polar orbit! The fram2 will spend 3-5 days in space, observing the poles and aurora, conducting science experiments, and capturing amazing views.

Pretty evening for the launch of Amazon’s Kuiper 1 mission atop an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. 27 satellites for Amazon’s new internet constellation hitched a ride to orbit from the Space Coast at 7:01pm ET.

On Sunday I traveled to the middle of the desert to capture this: The ISS against our sun. What I didn't expect: the sun producing a magnificent flare at the same time A once-in-a-lifetime shot I'm thrilled to share with you. See the uncropped shot or get the print in the reply

Since I was in Vero Beach this week, I was curious about region's #hurricane history. Interestingly, JEANNE 2004 is farthest-N known landfall of major (Cat 3+) on #Florida's East Coast. None N of Port St. Lucie. But JEANNE had fat core, so eyewall reached N to near Melbourne.

I’m proud of this one. I brought a solar telescope to Florida to capture a Falcon 9 rocket launch transiting the sun. While these have been captured before, never with the details of the sun’s chromosphere, which makes this one the first! See the video or get the print below 👇
