There is no ‘teacher shortage’. There are thousands of qualified experiences teachers who are no longer teaching. There’s a shortage of respect and proper compensation for teachers allowing them to actually teach.

Have literally never met someone whose past includes abuse, neglect or other trauma, who was "pretending to be sick" or exaggerating their pain. But I've met LOTS of 'em who were pretending to be well & exaggerating their functionality-- and who were f*cking exhausted by it.

I make no apologies for reposting this picture of Billie Piper every time I see it because it’s worth it, and because Laurence Fox gets really upset by it. RT if you like it too.

GREAT NEWS My campaign to limit the number of people retweeting this image and causing any upset to the Conservatives has made great progress I am now so confident that nobody will RT it that I am going to tag in Conservatives so they can see how well we're doing. Thank you.

When I was depressed & suicidal in 2017, my close male friends would come home to keep me company. They'd do my laundry, my dishes, wash my house and open the curtains for me. None even knew what depression was, but they knew I was down and needed help. Their love lifted me.

I cannot and will not reconcile the dissonance between MPs and Lords/Ladies tweeting about wearing an extra cardigan and the emails I am getting from local gov/ hosp colleagues about whether I think they have enough body storage to get us to February

1996, I left care and found myself in a bedsit. My first Christmas Day I had a Pot Noodle on my own. Fast forward 30 years and young people leaving care are doing the same. How can we let this happen? Children in care are still children.

Charles has now appointed Prince Andrew to step in for him first if he is ill or out of the country. That's right, the same Prince Andrew who was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein and used £12 million of our money to settle a sexual assault case.

The Goverment’s Rwanda policy isn’t just cruel, callous & morally reprehensible - the Supreme Court has confirmed it’s unlawful too. The fact the Govt came up with the idea of sending people fleeing violence and persecution to a country thousands of miles away is shameful.
