Thanks to Shandon Boat Club Colm Hennessy for organing a #nutrition talk with all junior athletes. Got to share my experience when I was a full time athlete. I can only echo the great work Sharon Madigan & Rónán Doherty from Sport Ireland that was crucial for my success.

Great to support our local charity Marymount Hospice Christmas cycle last weekend 🌲🎅 Some of our own took it more serious than others when the deep section rims and the good bikes came out 😅

Thanks to BookshelfCoffeeHouse for an amazing coffee cupping experience for Blarney Cycling Club members. We got to sample roasts by THE BARN all single origin. Amazing the flavour profile's from the different batches.

Excited to receive my Cycling Ireland race numbers for the new season ahead with Blarney Cycling Club This season will bring a new dynamic for me being a student 🧑🏫 - athlete 🚴 again with Technological University Dublin on top my full work schedule. #BlarneyCyclingClub #StudentAthlete #TimeManagement

Thanks Celtic Ross Hotel for an unbelievable night celebrating and honouring at the 25th West Cork Sport Star awards. Well done to this year's recipients. Great excuse to meet up with my (rowing) partner Shane O' Driscoll 🥰 The Southern Star C103

My second time doing a 4 day stage race. Placed 22nd out of 166 riders on GC. Great team support all weekend from Blarney Cycling Club at Rás Mumhan 📸: Caroline Kerley & Michael Buckley

Time to get excited. Ireland's pinnacle cycling race is coming up later this month. Thanks to all the sponsors who are making this happen for Blarney Cycling Club #Cork riders.

'I do love a challenge' Former world champion rower Mark O'Donovan swapped his oars for a bike in 2020, and will race in the five-day Rás Tailteann with Blarney CC this week. We've an interview with Mark in Thursday's The Southern Star.

Very proud to have completed my first Rás Tailteann Racing 770km on Irish roads over 5 days. I got great advise and support from members of Blarney Cycling Club 💙♥️ Thanks to all the sponsors who helped make this happen.

One week ago already since we finished #RasTailteann in Blackrock, Co.Louth. Big thanks to our mechanic Shane O Connell and our DS Michael Crowley who gave their time and the work they put in behind the scenes every evening. Blarney Cycling Club 💙❤️

Lastly, I cannot forget our best little Blarney Cycling Club supporters who came out for the finish for stage 3 in #Castlebar #Mayo Pity I got caught up in a crash a little over 3km from the finish but they were all smiles when I came in! #UpMayo 💚♥️

My first Rás Tailteann experience completed with Blarney Cycling Club A lot of positives taken away from this race and a huge learning curve. Looking forward to my next one ❤️💙 If I'm allowed Clodagh Butler 🙈

High-rep vs Low-rep strength training for endurance athletes 👇 A systematic review & meta-analysis from Frank Nugent 🏋️ HRST = High rep strength training. >12 reps per set; <67% 1RM; short rest periods 🏋️♀️ LRST = Low rep strength training. <12 reps per set; >67% 1RM; >90s

An amazing result by Newcestown GAA again! A great team with a common goal, good player cohesion and a strong desire to win. Very proud to have played a small part in this year's football team as a Performance Coach in the latter stage of the season.

Train smarter not harder. Correlate self reporting & other quantitive (Watts,HR,Lactate) markers. If you don’t measure you don’t learn #science Helping the current Munster Champ 🏆 Eoin Clifford #Bandon DM for lactate monitoring.
