A frosty start this morning 🥶 ❄️ Can you see the pedestrian walking along the path to the right about to step on the road? Neither could this driver!! Rushing into work with limited visibility can have serious consequences!!

We were pleased to be able to support North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue service this morning as they practiced rescue missions on our frozen Great Lake. After such tragic news recently in Solihull, these training exercises are critically important for our wonderful emergency services

Training for incidents involving frozen lakes, is an important part of what we do! Highlighted by recent tragic events! Whilst we are trained, and do have the equipment to carry out a rescue, nothing is safer than staying off the ice! Thank you Castle Howard North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service

Here are some of our crews in action at a training exercise last week involving a house fire. The crews were given the task to rescue three casualties, all of which would require further assistance in leaving the property. Training is an essential part of our week.
