This song was used to end Mott’s reunion shows back in 2009, and there was barely a dry eye in the house (Hammersmith Odeon) when it was played, it’s still to this very day one of my all time favourite singles from this hugely influential band.

Oh dear, this is something else that’s a ‘must have’ for me!

Just arrived, the brand new Queen WillRock I deluxe box set. A stunning looking set. The acid test of listening to it all will be for later on this evening.

A very different beast from the progressiveness of Queen II, and probably my favourite Queen album behind that one. Hard to believe that there was only 9 months between the 2, the band were on a real creative roll back then.
