I had a BLAST talking methods today with two amazing scientists, Aaron Lyon, PhD & @byron_powell! I was especially excited to learn more about the use of intervention mapping within Byron's COAST-IS project! Can't wait to see how this method works to improve TF-CBT implementation!

At least within mental health, this feels like the understatement of the year! :) We are doing poorly building patient "pull" for our evidence-based Tx. #ImpSci has been talking abt this since I first discovered it (~12 yrs), but I've seen few good strategies at the patient level

Debt creates mental overload and anxiety which focuses people on present rather than future. Study finds reducing debt improves cognition and anxiety. This has implications for health prevention (a future focus) as well. pnas.org/content/116/15…
