Photos from the police crackdown on the pro-Palestine encampment at UW–Madison this morning. Police and protesters clashed, and several protesters were arrested. Most of the tents were removed by about 9:30 a.m.

I can't speak for other campuses. But UW-Madison's protests, while unlawful, have been peaceful, except for when police showed up in riot gear.

The UW-Eau Claire pro-Palestine protest wrapped up around an hour and a half after it started. Organizers said they want to hold another protest in the future but have not set a date yet because of upcoming finals.
