I can't speak for other campuses. But UW-Madison's protests, while unlawful, have been peaceful, except for when police showed up in riot gear.

The UW-Eau Claire pro-Palestine protest wrapped up around an hour and a half after it started. Organizers said they want to hold another protest in the future but have not set a date yet because of upcoming finals.
