It’s wild how some people still think self-published authors aren’t “real authors.” Dude, some of the best stories I’ve ever read came from indie books, self-pubbed works, or forum posts. If you wrote it, you’re an author. Don’t like it? Go sip soup through a window screen.

Sometimes I forget about how scary Chicago can be underground. The rusty stone subway walls. The never-ending stretch of silence that watches you from afar—always a step ahead—always waiting, whispering promises of the unknown. Or maybe it’s just an old subway stop. Idk.

Whenever I resonate with other authors:

It’s insane how you can spend your whole childhood just wanting grown-up conversations—then you f-around-and-find-out that someone in the family was a monster, your “heroes” did some terrible things behind closed doors, and that it’s all on you to break the generational curses.

It really sucks that I had to take a break on writing to study for my major field assessments, but now that they’re done, I can keep preparing for my project’s launch. Yay! #WritingCommunity

I was on the US Copyright Office website. I finished all of the application, but as soon as I hit submit, the website crashed because it was under regularly scheduled maintenance. Fun. lol
