Using the road through Mabira Forest, one can't help but desire to cane all Buikwe and Eastern Uganda MPs plus National Forestry Authority-Uganda! The road is a rubbish dump. Plastic bottles strewn everywhere. Shocking! It has craters and looks worse than anything in Uganda, bar Masaka-Mutukula road.

Update: The Draft Traffic ( School Transport ) Rules 2025, proposes that vehicles transporting children be printed the words “SCHOOL BUS” on the front and rear and the words “DO NOT PASS WHEN RED LIGHTS ARE FLASHING” at the rear in block letters at least 8 inches in black colour.
