Everyday Sarah lives MoDNR’s mission. She has been a volunteer with the Stream Teams United since 2016, which can entail hiking floodplains, paddling smaller creeks and rivers, or participating in cleanups with Missouri River Relief in an effort to keep the state's waterways clean.

"When I’m volunteering, I get to see others recognize the beauty and value of our waters and how all of us, through our own actions, impact our environment." Thank you Sarah. Your motivation and determination to protect Missouri's natural resources is inspiring! #KnowTheirStory

When sport is PLAYed right, it’s a self-rewarding experience. The need for extrinsic rewards diminishes when the spirit of play is thriving.
