So today I had an audience of 0. It felt hard and emotional but this is how #edfringe one-person shows can be... Perseverance and strength is needed! If anyone is free at 15:15 over the next day or two I would really appreciate a few bums on seats! ❤️ tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/woodr…

It’s #WaterlooRoad day! The entire series is up on I player and episode 1 will be on BBC1 at 9pm tonight. We loved making this series so much. The entire cast is fantastic and ⁦Jason Manford⁩ is a brilliant headteacher. Can’t wait for everyone to see 1/3

Maggie Smith won her first Oscar for playing the toxic, delusional, and riveting Jean Brodie, a Mussolini-loving Scottish teacher in her self-professed prime, who casts a spell on her “little girls” with fatal results.

Farewell to Jack Jones, hit maker and star singer for more than 6 decades - we'll miss him. Here he is closing his own BBC special with Leon Russell's A Song For You in 1973...

So sad to hear that Jean Marsh has died. For many of us,she will always be remembered as Rose in Upstairs, Downstairs, the classic TV series she created with her friend Eileen Atkins. Her unforgettable performance won her the Best Actress Emmy award in the U.S. in 1975. RIP Jean.

So sad the news about Clodagh Rodgers, a star in many spheres: Film, TV, Stage & hit songs & of course Eurovision. She worked with so many greats in different genres. Commiserations to Frank, Louis & Lavinia & bless you for asking, and trusting, me to write her obituary. xx
