This month's lecture for the Arizona Speakers Series is Malala Yousafzai. She is remarkable and I am absolutely enjoying listening to her. Amazing stories and an amazing sense of humor. What she has done in her relatively short life makes the rest of us look like lazy bums.

It was 107 degrees F in Phoenix today. On tv, they said that if you were wondering when we’d get to 110, it averages about June 11. Rest of this week will be cooler than normal and I will try to appreciate that.

A close friend in another state called me and left a message. The message was odd, about selling me insurance, but I just assumed he was joking. I called back & it turns out he did not call me. Creepy - not sure if this is just a clever scam, an example of AI, or something else.
